The Windies finished the second day with 75 runs for 2 wickets. Craig Brathwaite was unbeaten on 49 and Krumah Buner on 17. Mustafizur took 2 wickets for Bangladesh.

Earlier, Mehedi Hasan Miraj tasted the first Test century of his career by surpassing his highest score of 78 runs in the first innings of Bangladesh. Miraj returned to the dressing room with 103 runs and Bangladesh's first innings ended with 430 runs. Besides, Shakib Al Hasan got his personal 25th half-century. And, opener Shadman Islam scored 59 runs. Jomel Warikan took 4 wickets for the Windies.
