In other words, the number of deaths has decreased by more than five hundred compared to the previous day. The death toll has reached 55 lakh 38 thousand 413 people worldwide.
During the same period, 31 lakh 53 thousand 204 people were newly infected with the virus. In other words, the number of newly identified patients has increased by more than half a lakh as compared to the previous day. As a result, the total number of patients infected with the virus has increased from the beginning of the epidemic to 32 crore 6 lakh 54 thousand 68 people.
In the last 24 hours, the United States has had the highest number of coronavirus infections and deaths in the world. During this period, 7 lakh 87 thousand 415 people were newly infected with coronavirus in the country and 1 thousand 880 people died.
