Allegation of raping the mother of one child by calling the union council
The victim filed a case with Harirampur police station on Friday night. The accused Babu is the son of late Hamed Ali of Rustampur village in Lechhraganj union. He served as the personal assistant to the chairman of that union council.
According to the case file, Babu, a mother of one child from Natakhola village of Lechhraganj union, had a love affair with the 26-year-old woman. On the afternoon of May 29, Babu called the woman to the Union Parishad on his mobile phone and took her away. Babu later raped her against her will. Later, showing the temptation of marriage, Babu took her to different places and had sexual relations with her more than once. The woman then divorced her husband on the promise of Babu's marriage. Later, when the woman became pregnant, Babu asked her to destroy the two-month-old baby. Otherwise, Babu threatens to kill the housewife's four-year-old son.
However, the accused Babu has denied the allegations against him. Local UP chairman Syed Hasan Imam Sona Mia said the boy had brought me on a motorcycle for about ten years. To my knowledge, he is not bad. I have heard this from the locals.
The Officer-in-charge of Harirampur Police Station Syed Mizanur Islam said the victim had filed a case with the police station. Attempts are being made to arrest the accused.
