The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has revealed the information after the body of young Nanika was recovered from the drum on Friday. Police have arrested Nimai and his three accomplices on this basis.

Police recovered his body from a drum dumped near a city bypass cattle market in the city on Friday. Later, the PBI launched an investigation into the revelation of Nanika's murder. Four people, including police constable Nimai Chandra Sarkar, were identified in the killings using CCTV footage and other information technology.
In an initial confession, Nimai, a constable working at the GRP police station in Rajshahi, said he had an affair with nonika seven years ago despite having a wife. Nimai recently killed Nanika due to pressure for marriage.
Meanwhile, Nanika Rani's parents have demanded exemplary punishment for those involved in the girl's murder.
The other three arrested in Nanika's murder are Nimai's accomplice Kabir, Sumon, and microbus driver Abdur Rahman.
