Afghanistan was scheduled to face Bangladesh in a Group E match on March 25 at home. However, the Afghanistan Football Federation offered to host the match in Qatar on behalf of Corona.
In response, Bangladesh wants to play in their own country to get the benefit of a home venue. Abu Naeem Sohag, General Secretary of BFF, said that Bangladesh will face in the second round match on June 3 at a neutral venue and not at home.
However, not only the Bangladesh-Afghanistan match but all the matches of the March window have been decided to be held in a neutral venue by the AFC next June. In that case, there is no home-away system.
