The BJP leader and leader of the same party Prabir Dey was arrested from the New Alipore area of Kolkata on Friday afternoon.
Police said Pamela was driving on NR Avenue in New Alipore on Friday afternoon. In addition to Prabir, Pamela's bodyguards were in the car. Police stopped the vehicle after receiving information from a secret source. 100 grams of cocaine was recovered from Pamela.

According to the police, the market value of the recovered drug is several lakh rupees. It will be investigated why and where the drug was being taken, whether Pamela is involved in a big ring, whether anyone else has any contact with it.
