A report by Qatar-based international news outlet Al Jazeera said.

Convicted Asadullah Asadi, 49, was associated with the Iranian mission in Austria. He was arrested in Germany on suspicion of providing explosives for a planned attack.

Three of his associates, including two Belgians of Iranian descent, have been sentenced to 15 to 16 years in prison and stripped of their Belgian citizenship.
