Miscreants stormed the homes of Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the lower house of the US Congress, and Mitch McConnell, the leader of the majority Republicans in the Senate.
The miscreants left the pig's severed head and graffiti in front of the garage of the San Francisco home of Democrat Nancy Pelosi on Friday, local time. Mitch McConnell's home in Louisville, Kentucky, also spray-painted "Where's My Money" or "Where's My Money?"
McConnell called the incident "extremist rage." Police said they were investigating the incident though they did not know who carried out the sabotage. Earlier, the Senate rejected President Donald Trump's proposal to increase the incentive from 600 to 2,000, which was passed in the House of Representatives. Republican Mitch McConnell has been opposed to Trump's proposal from the beginning.
