More than a thousand Bosnian immigrants are living inhumane lives on the Croatian border as refugee camps burn down.
This situation is due to the disagreement of the politicians of the country about exactly where they will be kept. It is feared that some of the immigration hopefuls may die in this situation. We have to fight even with heavy snowfall.
The horizon is wide white snow. Migrants from Asia, the Middle East and East Africa are somehow surviving in that icy kingdom on the border with Bosnia's northwestern Croatia border. The Lipa camp was set on fire a few days ago. Authorities blame immigration aspirants.
There is another problem with the rehabilitation of immigrants. The locals of the ethnically disputed Krajina region are also reluctant to give them shelter. These helpless people are somehow surviving in the cold winter below the freezing point of the food provided by the donors. Being forced to sleep on the floor of the tent in the extreme cold. Some have taken refuge in broken empty containers.
Immigration aspirants fear that if they are not rehabilitated soon, a terrible humanitarian crisis could ensue. The refugees said, 'Electricity for four days,We are without water and bed. I don't know what will happen next. The tents could collapse at any time due to ice. In the meantime, many have fallen ill. Will the government or the UN take responsibility if we die? Please help us. '
The European Union has given 80 million euros to the Bosnian government for the resettlement of refugees. The company has also offered an additional 30 million euros. Donor agencies call on Bosnia-Herzegovina to resolve the crisis quickly.
