The number of patients infected with corona virus is increasing in the capital. Meanwhile, the government has decided to use gene expert machines to detect tuberculosis for corona testing.

So far, 33 Gene Expert machines have been developed for corona testing.

Crowds are increasing in government and private corona test centers in the capital. The 52 ICU beds for Corona patients at Kuwait Maitri, Kurmitola General, Mugda and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University are now full.

Of the total 113 ICUs in all government hospitals in the capital, only 16 are vacant. However, out of a total of 568 ICU beds in the country, 271 are vacant.
