Protests have erupted against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over allegations of corruption and failure to tackle Corona.
Thousands marched in Jerusalem on Sunday (September 20th). Protesters chanted slogans demanding Netanyahu's resignation. They allege that the situation has worsened due to the ministers' public outcry over measures to deal with Corona. Besides, the overall situation in the country has become complicated due to Netanyahu's corruption.
Due to the economic downturn due to the corona, the unemployment rate in the country has risen to over 20 percent. Corona has so far killed more than 1,200 people in the country of 9 million. Besides, the number of identities has exceeded 1 lakh 87 thousand.
