Airstrikes in Afghanistan have killed 24 civilians, including children. At least six people were injured.
A government plane struck the village of Sayed Ramazan in Kunduz province on Saturday. The village was attacked because it was controlled by the Taliban, but civilians were killed, according to the Associated Press. However, the country's defense minister claimed that most of the dead were Taliban fighters. He also said that it is being investigated whether there are any civilians among them.
Meanwhile, Taliban spokesman Jabihullah Mujahid condemned the attack. Negotiations in Qatar have recently begun to end decades of fighting between the Afghan government and the Taliban. At that moment, the Afghan government launched another attack.
