Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has paid tributes to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of his 45th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day. He paid his respects by laying a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi No. 32 around 5:30 am on Saturday (August 15).
After that, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, stood in silence for a while respecting Bangabandhu. At that time, a smart group of armed forces saluted him. A sad tune was played on the bugle. Later, a special munajat was offered on 15 August seeking forgiveness and peace of the souls of the martyrs.
Then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina went to Banani Cemetery from Dhanmondi. There are graves of the martyrs of August 15, including his mother Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, brothers Sheikh Kamal, Sheikh Jamal and Sheikh Russell.
